TEFL qualifications are valid for life; they do not expire. We'd recommend using your TEFL certificate within two years of course completion as it may throw up some questions during interviews about why you have not used it since completing your course
TEFL stands for Teaching English as a Foreign Language, and a certificate in TEFL is, simply put, a qualification that enables you to do just this – Teach English as a Foreign Language. In other words, it enables you to teach English to people whose first language is not English
How much do TEFL teachers earn? ESL teacher salaries greatly vary depending on where you're teaching. A teacher's salary can be as little as $600 USD per month to as much as $4,000 USD!
